Summer Silent Auction
Support the library this summer, through our Silent Auction.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the library, as we enter our new fiscal year.
Visit the tables by our geranium window in the lobby to peruse our items, and to place your bids.
Bidding end on Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m.
Auction winners will be contacted individually on Monday, August 11.

Tick Prevention with Dr. Stephen Rich
Join Dr. Stephen Rich for a talk about Project ITCH and tick prevention at the Centerville Public Library.
Project ITCH (Is Tick Control Helping) is a region-wide research project that looks at backyard tick control practices to figure out what keeps ticks away, what doesn't, and why. Dr. Rich will discuss Project ITCH's work on Cape Cod and give tips on how to prevent tick-borne diseases.

The Great Boston Molasses Flood
Turn the calendar back to January 1919 and travel to Boston, Massachusetts. Explore the city before, during, and after a steel tank ruptured, releasing two million gallons of molasses into a vibrant North End neighborhood. Mourn the victims and celebrate the survivors.
In this presentation, you’ll view primary source documents that very few people have seen.
