This workshop is designed for teens and young adults who have some babysitting experience and are ready to take the next step toward professional nannying. It’s a skill-based, discussion-led session that builds on foundational babysitting knowledge (such as from the 4-H Babysitting Certification) and introduces the responsibilities, mindset, and career potential of being a nanny.

• Real-life growth opportunities like travel, referrals, and long-term family relationships.
• The difference between babysitting and nannying.
• Professionalism and caregiving.
• Child development basics and age-appropriate activities.
• Indoor/Outdoor safety for outings.
• Partnering with families and maintaining values-aligned representation (especially online).
