Keep Barnstable Beautiful Community Cleanup

In-person at the Barnstable Adult Community Center

Join Keep Barnstable Beautiful (KBB), a local chapter of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, along with your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors, to give the Town of Barnstable a thorough cleaning after the winter months.

This cleanup offers volunteers the opportunity to get some fresh air while cleaning up the litter that has accumulated over the snowy winter months in the areas of Hyannis, Barnstable, Centerville, Marstons Mills, Cotuit and Osterville.

Keep Barnstable Beautiful will provide gloves, trash grabbers, safety vests, and bags.

All Volunteers are urged to follow the safety guidelines below:

• Wear rubber-lined gloves (KBB will provide gloves)
• Use proper technique when removing gloves and sanitize hands after
• Use a trash grabber tool (KBB will provide tools)
• Wear light colored/brightly colored clothing (KBB will provide safety vests)
• Clean up in the direction of oncoming traffic and avoid stepping into the street, whenever possible
