Volunteer at CPL

Volunteers are an essential part of the Centerville Public Library!

Volunteers work in a number of areas.  For example, you can:

  • work on committees to fundraise,
  • help host library programs,
  • work in our bookstore,
  • and organize and maintain library collections.

Are you crafty? Want to learn to craft with us?  We are preparing for our Annual Greens Sale and want your help!

Meet the co-Chairs of the Greens Sale on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30am in the Community Rooms at CPL to learn more about volunteering for this special fundraiser!

We welcome your ideas for new items!

Beginning November 1, weekly crafting will take place on Mondays from 12-3 and Tuesdays 10am-1pm.

The Alice Owen Williams Bookstore at CPL is seeking an interested and reliable volunteer for Saturday mornings from 10am - 1pm.  Duties include sorting donations, shelving new items, helping and checking out customers, and having fun at the library!
