About our Speaker:

This program will be presented by Sophia Sayigh (Director, Green Burial Massachusetts). Sophia was drawn to the idea of returning to the earth as naturally as possible as soon as she found out about it fifteen years ago and immediately organized a well-attended GBM information night at her local library to spread the word. She is glad to be part of making green burial an option for anyone who desires it. A former librarian and lay breastfeeding counselor, she is a member of the Brewster Cemetery Commission.
